casitas

About Our Accommodations:

Situated on the beach, each casita has an en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Also, the room has sheets, mosquito nets, towels, bathroom mats, electricity (most of the time) and running water.  With names from Shackleton, Gilligan, and Robinson each casita has a theme that corresponds to its namesake.

All Casitas have French doors that open on to a 4’ by 14’ covered veranda. Each of the Casitas has a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean. No casita if farther from the beach than 80’ some are as close as 45’.

Crusoe style casitas have two beds in an open room that can sleep up to 4 people.

Gulliver casitas have the same amenities as the Crusoe. They also include an efficiency kitchen with small fridge, sink, burner, coffee pot and the kitchen necessities. Sleeping arrangements in the Gulliver include a loft bedroom reached by ladder that sleeps up to two, a separate bedroom that also sleeps two, along with a comfortable living space, which includes a sitting area and table, great for playing games or sharing a casita cooked meal.

On premises there is a restaurant and a bar that sit on the beach. The tables that sit on a deck and on the sand are lightly sheltered from the tropical sea breeze by some palm and grape trees. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served plus appetizers all day long. At your request, we offer a candlelight veranda dinner service.

The bar features Rum (of course), Excellent Margaritas, beer, wine and a selection of other mixed drinks. We also have games for our customers to enjoy as well as horseshoes on the beach.

Other Dining Options:

Such as Miss Bridgets, Carlitos, Habana Libre, Los Dophines, Mangos Pizza, S Cool Spot, Tranquillos, and Casa Iguana . While we don’t mind if you spend every moment enjoying our piece of paradise, we encourage our guests to experience as much of the island as they desire.

Let's Go Fishing:

We can set you up with native fishing captains to take you out to the best spots for a little ocean fishing (if you catch one you want to eat, bring it to the restaurant and we will cook it up for you for a small fee).  Or you could reserve a Gulliver casita and cook your "catch or the day" yourself.  We have snorkel gear to rent and can refer you to the best dive shop on the island.
