Little Corn Island Snorkeling
Not certified as a diver or just want added enjoyment? Snorkel Little Corn Island’s barrier reef. With minimal currents, warm Caribbean waters, relatively healthy reefs, abundant Fauna and easy access, anyone, young or old can enjoy the bounty of Little Corn’s undersea world.
You may prefer swimming out to the reefs just off the beaches or taking a guided tour (or both). Little Corn Beach and Bungalow can help provide exactly what you need to have an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Own a great set of snorkel gear? Bring them along on the trip. Or save some space as you travel as of course we also have a supply of masks, snorkels and fins for rent. Remember, with our RADDeal package, snorkel gear rental is free and you get a discount on guided snorkel tours to the interior of the reef!
There are numerous snorkeling trips available from tour operators and island locals. These typically last 2 to 4 hours and cost approximately $20 to $40 per person. We recommend one of the Corn Islands most competent, oldest and friendly snorkel excursions, Captain Peter. After an 8 year association with Captain Peter, we know his team will pick you up right on the Little Corn Beach and Bungalow beach and whisk you away to a wonderland of Flora and Fauna. Raddeal guests receive a significant discount too!
While the best snorkeling reef with the easiest access from the island is located on the northern tip of Little Corn (we are located on the eastern side of island), it is only a relatively short walk (10 to 15 minutes) from Little Corn Beach and Bungalow. There are also good reefs to explore on the eastern side of the island inside the reef where its protective embrace shields you from the breaking waves of the beautiful Caribbean Sea (weather permitting).
Remember, as with everything you might choose to do on Little Corn Island, you snorkel at your own risk.
